Questions
Is AICalc free?
Yes. AICalc is free, with no sign-up and no ads, in your browser and on Windows.
Does it work on a Mac or a phone?
Yes, in your browser: open aicalc.aicoach.my on any device. You can also install it as an app from the browser. The Windows app is for Windows 10 and 11.
Do I need the internet?
Only for Ask. Everything else works offline, including the web version after your first visit.
Can the AI get it wrong?
The AI only reads your question; a real calculator does the maths, and every answer shows the numbers used. If the AI misreads a number, you'll see it, so please check before relying on an answer.
How do I update?
The web version updates itself. The Windows app tells you when a newer version is out: a dot appears on the ⋯ menu, and ⋯ → About AICalc has a Download button. Download it and run it as before; your values and settings are kept.
Your privacy
- The calculators run on your device. Your numbers, history, Ask chat and settings are saved only on your device.
- Ask sends your question and recent chat to an AI service, through AICoach.my, with a random app ID (not linked to you) and the app version. Don't type private details, like account numbers.
- To stop misuse, Ask counts how many questions come from each internet address per day. These counts are deleted every week.
- Google Analytics counts visits and which features are used: on the web only if you accept its cookies, and in the Windows app only if you agree when it asks (Settings → Usage statistics). It never sees what you type or your numbers. Cookie choices
